Community Thanksgiving Celebration | 2-5:30pm
Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal with community members, family, and friends at the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach. All are welcome and everyone eats for FREE! In years past, over 700 people had happy, full tummies because of volunteers and donors. This annual event is made possible through support from longtime North Tahoe residents, volunteers, local businesses, and community partners .Food donations and volunteers appreciated!

Friendsgiving at Tahoe National Brewing Co. | 2-9pm
Gather your crew and celebrate the season with a buffet-style feast featuring all your favorite Thanksgiving classics—all made from scratch with love. Good food, great company, and football on the big screens. Let’s raise a glass to friendship, food, and gratitude!

Thanksgiving Dinner at Gar Woods | 12-9pm
Thanksgiving on the Lake at Gar Woods is the perfect place to celebrate this Thanksgiving! Enjoy a memorable three-course holiday feast, complete with all the traditional favorites elevated with Gar Woods’ signature touch. Reservations are highly recommended.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Granlibakken | 4-7pm
Leave the cooking to the Chef’s at Granlinakken this Thanksgiving and enjoy a delicious holiday buffet dinner! This is a full-course Thanksgiving feast, made from scratch in the Granlibakken Tahoe kitchen. This annual event coincides with the opening of Granlibakken’s historic sled hill (weather permitting) for a complete holiday weekend experience at Tahoe.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Olympic House | 2:30-8pm
Book Thanksgiving Day at the Olympic House for a truly festive dining experience! Enjoy a delicious grand buffet with carving stations, holiday side dishes, and desserts. Guests will receive a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival, and afterwards a full bar will be available for purchase. There will be two separate seatings: 2:30pm or 5:30pm. Please make your reservations by November 26.

Gratitude Flow at Yoga Room | 10-11:15am
Cultivate and celebrate gratitude on Thanksgiving Day with this all-levels yoga class. A portion of the proceeds for this class will be donated to Sierra Community House, a local non-profit that provides crisis intervention, hunger relief and legal services to the North Lake Tahoe community.

No matter where you are in the world, make time to visit locally owned shops and show your LOVE. And if you’ll be in North Lake Tahoe on November 29, keep reading for all the Small Business Saturday happenings.
Small Business Saturday + Visit with Santa | Tahoe City + West Shore
Celebrate the spirit of the season by supporting local shops and enjoying festive fun for the whole family. Visit Santa at The Boatworks Mall from 12-4pm for holiday photos, take your own or have them taken by Silent A Photography, then catch him spreading cheer through town from 4-5pm. Stop by the Free Gift Wrapping Station at The Boatworks from 12-6pm with proof of a $25 or more local purchase. With shopping, dining, and holiday magic, Tahoe City and the West Shore are the perfect places to celebrate the season.

Welcome to Winter at Palisades Tahoe | 12:30-5pm
Celebrate the beginning of Winter in The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Stop by the village for a full afternoon of exciting events and activities that will be great for all ages. This event is totally free, and all are welcome to join. Plus celebrate Tahoe’s winter sports legends with the unveiling of FORGED, a live-tribute sculpture and community tradition at Palisades Tahoe.

Give Back to the local non-profits you love! The Give Back Tahoe Giving Season brings together neighbors, visitors, and friends. It reminds us the spirit of the holiday season is about gratitude and giving. It’s about community. Donate to local nonprofits. Be a part of something bigger. In 2024, 908 people donated over $781,688 for 64 participating nonprofits! Since 2014 Give Back Tahoe has raised nearly $4 million!
