The 78th Tahoe City Fireworks Show will light up the sky at 9:30pm on July 4, launched from a barge off Commons Beach. Spectators can enjoy views from the Tahoe City shoreline, Lakeside Trail, William B. Layton State Park, Tahoe State Recreation Area, and Lake Forest beaches. Fireworks present an unreasonable danger for wildfire and are strictly prohibited in unincorporated Placer, which means all of North Lake Tahoe, and present an unreasonable danger for wildfire. LEARN MORE
❤️ Alcohol Ban on Truckee River and Beaches
Alcohol is banned on the Truckee River from July 1-6 annually. Alcohol restrictions will be in place at Forest Service beaches including Zephyr Cove and Shoals, Meeks Bay, Round Hill Pines and at other select beaches over the holiday weekend. LEARN MORE

Fire restrictions are in place for the duration of fire season with all open burning and solid-fuel recreational fires prohibited. Only Natural Gas (NG) and Propane (LPG) outdoor fire pits, barbecues, and pellet grills/smokers are permitted during fire season. During Red Flag Warnings, all outdoor flame-producing devices, including gas and propane appliances, will also be prohibited. LEARN MORE

Disc Golf in North Tahoe Regional Park
Try your luck at the 18 hole course that meanders through the North Tahoe Regional Park. The course was designed to start at Tee #1 at the top of the hill, however many locals like to start play from Tee #10. All of the volunteers who built the course, as well as the North Tahoe Public Utility District hope you have a great round, and come back to visit us for many more.
