Tahoe Cross-Country (Tahoe XC) is a public benefit corporation that manages the recreation area, ensures world-class grooming for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, generates income, upkeeps the facilities and maintains the parking lot.

Tahoe Cross-Country Ski Education Association (TCCSEA) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that holds the concession agreement with Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD), who maintains permits to use California Tahoe Conservancy and California State Parks land. TCCSEA develops and offers free and affordable community programs for people of all ages.
